To enable learners to gain knowledge of what safeguarding is, the different forms of abuse, how to respond, understand ways to reduce chances of abuse and how to recognise signs of abuse. |

Aims & Objectives |
The aim of this short course is to provide a range of knowledge and understanding about safeguarding issues. It enables learners to reflect on the impact of abuse (suspected) on the lives of individuals and those close to them and to learn about good practice in areas such as identifying, recording and reporting abuse.. The outcomes are: - Know how to recognise signs of abuse Know how to respond to suspected or alleged abuse Understand the national and local context of safeguarding and protection from abuse Understand ways to reduce the likelihood of abuse Know how to recognise and report unsafe practices |
